Everyone in some type of relationship will wonder at some or another is; are my mate and I compatible? All of us in a relationship have already wondered that. Even we married people have. After the honey phase is when you defiantly start wondering. Dating or not we all would like to know if it going to work out or not.
I would ask myself these couple of quick questions then decide for myself if I thought it was going to work out.
How long exactly have you been together? Being together for a long time does not mean that you are going to get married. You have to really sit down and study the relationship to know for sure.
Do you get that nervous fluttering feeling when it comes to seeing your significant other standing across the room? When you go to see your mate or just run into them in the store do you get all squishy inside and mess up your words. That can be a sign that you are in love.
Do you have anything in common? Like sports or foods. Having something in common is one of the most important things when it comes to having a relationship.
How old are you? Are you just a couple of years apart or decades apart? That can really be a signal of it will work or not. When it comes to age having a big difference is not a sign that the relationship will not work.
Some women and men or mature for their age.
Do you enjoy the same activities together? Do you love being together? Do love going out to eat together and to the movies?
Do find yourselves talking about the future like kids? Do sometimes start talking about the future and not even know it. Does it include each other and the big topic kids?
There are so many other questions that we could ask, but why not just ask the most important. We could spend eternity with this person, so we want to know for sure don't we? When looking on the Internet we will see tons of different tests that we could take to tell if the future will work with this person or not. Simply feeling the big "it" is not just enough. Everyone has their first love. Being able to decide if it is just infatuation is one of the hardest things. You can truly deeply care for this person, but that simply is not enough. You need to ask yourself have you stuck together through the hard times and not simply tucked your tail and ran. There is no certain way to tell if you will be together for the long haul or not. You just simply have to give it a try.
