Do you want your relationship to thrive and develop into something wonderful? Here are a few things you can do to make sure that you and your mate have a wonderful relationship. One that is free from drama and heart aches. Am not promising you will never have a fight with your loved one but am promising that you will enjoy relationship. One thing you should never do is crowd your partner's life. You might want to spend all your waking days with them but too much time together can ruin a relationship. You need to give your partner space to do things alone. You do not have to do everything together. Let them go see their friends while you also spend some time with your friends. You can still have quality time and get to spend time together without crowding your partners life.
One of the other things you should do to make your relationship work is to make decisions as one. You are in a relationship and it is good to always consult with your partner. If you do not consult you might end up fighting about it. Take for example you decide to change the furniture in the house without consulting with your mate. When he or she comes back home to find everything has changed will might not appreciate it. The best way to go about it would be to ask them how they would like it if the furniture was changed. They might even give you and idea of what furniture they like. It will then be easy to go and get the furniture especially if they happened to mention the ones you have always wanted too. Its good to consult.
Another thing that should mutually exist between the two of you is respect. Respect each other. I actually think if you do not respect someone you have no business being in a relationship with them in the first place. Respect each other, do not criticize your mate in front of their friends or family member. You might not like what the other person's opinion on something but you should respect them enough not to discredit it before his or her friends. Disrespecting each other will not do you any good, it will actually drive the two of you further away from each other.
When you disagree about something, you should not call him or her names. He or she might be an idiot and ungrateful and you would like to scream this on top of your voice but you should never. This is because you might all start throwing insults at each other and there is no telling how much far you can go with it. You might end up saying something so mean. Words once said cannot be taken back. They might even stick with your partner and they might not be able to see you in the same light again. Refrain from name calling your partner. You might not be happy with what he or she did but there are better ways of telling them they are wrong. You can also argue minus calling each other ugly names.
