Need Relationship Advice?
So many people are looking for relationship advice these days! The divorce rate is still the same, 50%. It is even higher for second marriages! That even scares me, considering I am in my second marriage.
Both of us are committed to making this work. I tease him occasionally saying," we will not get a divorce, you can just bury me in the back yard!" It works for me! Just kidding.
Relationships are hard work, marriages are even harder. You can't just get married and think "that's it! I've done it, this is the end all, be all of the relationship!" It just doesn't work that way. So many people won't admit it, but this is what they think about marriage.
The wedding is the highlight of their marriage. That is pretty sad, considering it only lasts a couple hours! If you are looking for some solid relationship advice, you're not going to find it in the bottom of a bottle. (just kidding, but you still won't find it there!)
Good relationships need compromise. And yes, that means sometimes we have to do things we don't want to do! I know it sucks, but if you want your better half to do for you, you need to do for them! Remember the golden rule? Do unto others as you would have done to you.
If more people lived by that rule, the world would be a better place!
