He says, before married, all of us want to have a happy marriage, no argument, always holding hand when walking in the park, always smile to spouse and many-many sweet thing. But that not always happen to most of the couples. That made our spouse feels sad. This is simply because we are human, no body perfect.
He says, the first step to save a marriage is take responsibility. This is the hardest thing to do because we never like to admit that we might go wrong about something. We always blame other person on everything because of our pride. If we don't take responsibility there is no way we can solve problems. We will get stuck and at the end we cannot save a marriage. So we have to take responsibility for our part of the problem.
For the second step, he says we have to admit our responsibility to our partner. Have a heart to heart conversation, don't keep anything inside. Say it everything to your spouse. Admit that you have done something wrong and ask for another change and leave it to your spouse. Your spouse normally will thing about and accept you because you admit your responsibility to the problem. And your spouse also wants to save the marriage.
Lastly he says; don't give pressure to your partner. If you are really honest and have change, your partner will come to you to accept you back. This is because you are honest to fix what's wrong.
