At some point in time, everybody will be concerned when to get married, but here are certain things which one needs to look at. The times when divorce rate was somewhere between twenty percent, the relationships were a lot more compatible. Now the divorce rates are at a all time high of seventy to seventy five percent. These ratios can be extremely sad to look at, but here is how to see the real picture. A very important pillar of every marriage should be love, but that is not the only pillar one has to look at.
Marriage means responsibility, health insurance, better jobs, cars, houses, kids, in laws etc. according to a research younger teens are at a higher risk of getting a divorce then, the mature ones. Marriage is not just a spree, to get away from parents or bad economic situations. It is a union of two people who are willing to be with each other at any cost. Marriage is an institution which legitimizes living of two mature individuals who are not dependent upon anyone else. The reason why marriages are falling apart is because everyone is obsessed with the "perfect Hollywood marriage" you see celebrities getting married everyday and then getting a divorce the next.
So in a way people think it is okay to get a divorce, but at what cost? Getting a divorce after a marriage means playing with not only two lives but the lives of others attached with it, and if you have kids then that just completely puts them in an extremely painful position. When you think about marriage think about things such as your emotional compatibility, how much you trust each other, your physical compatibility whether you understand each others' needs and do not think that in the future infidelity could be a problem, and the most important think of economic status of both the partners, whether the male and the female are not going to put any pressure on the other partner, there would be a prior agreement of who would provide for what.
When stress builds upon couples to pay bills, and tackle all the emotional problems as well, that is when a marriage is at it weakest. So think carefully before you go ahead to making your life most important decision. And remember there is no harm in compromising, once you are in it; try your best to make your marriage work out.
