1. Stay away from arguments. Arguments destroy marriage more than anything else. Avoid arguments at all cost.
After all, what can an argument do for your relationship? That's right. Nothing! Arguing is the worst way to persuade your partner to your way of thinking. Suppose that you win an argument by shooting your partner's points full of holes, so what? Does it do any good?
Arguing will not save your marriage. In fact, it does the complete opposite.
2. Doing activities that both of you enjoy. Schedule a time where both of you can spend time together. Make it more meaningful by choosing the place or particular events that are significant in your relationship.
Well, you once did that all sort of things, didn't you? Why don't you reminisce that memory and be romantic and be young again? Go out on a date like this is your first date.
3. Give honest compliments and appreciation. Do you ever feel overwork and under appreciated? Don't you think once in a while your partner is having that kind of feeling?
There must be so many things that your partner has done. One of the deepest urge of human being is the desire to be important. By giving honest compliments, you are sending the message that their efforts and work is not being overlooked; that they are important in your life.
Furthermore, it makes them feel good to do all the chores and your and, as a result, will be happy to more of that. If that is the case, give more compliments and appreciations; the cycle goes on.
