Marital Bliss Your Job
After much drudgery and isolation, Japanese wives have been duly rewarded by Japan's government. The new law allows wife to get half the amount of her husband's pension. At the same time, it has created a panic among the husbands, who have been working long hours in offices and coming homes late, where their wives were waiting for them. While some dub this action of government as the rational response to wife's hard work and loneliness, there are many who claim that corporate culture in Japan has taken toll of married life of men. This is not the situation of Japan only; working late hours and corporate burden has become an order of the day in a country like India, where young guys labour hard for their professional life. But the love is lost from their life. The matrimonial muddle caused by the corporate culture has inspired me to write this piece.
Spend some time with your better-half
Young guys need to understand that office is not the only place on earth. There is someone who is waiting for them at home. You are devoting enough time to your job; but do you spare a few moments for your spouse? Just ask this question to your self. Your better half is someone who is willing to sacrifice everything for you; even her personal likes and dislikes do not matter after she has tied knot with you. And she asks for a few happy moments.
Don't enter the bedroom with laptop
Now this is the limit guys. You are bringing laptop to home, ok. But is it wise to enter the bedroom with laptop hanged on your shoulder? Try to finish your tasks in office itself so that laptop may not play spoilsport in the bedroom. It irritates your wife and maybe you will not get your lunch-box next day. So be careful.
Weekend merriment
Don't come with your laptop on Friday. Forget this despicable device (for your wife) at office, and see the happy face of your dear wife. Don't arrange any drinking party with your friends. In this day and age, some guys have developed courage to switch off office mobile. If your position does not allow going to this extent, you can SMS your boss.
Whisper sweet nothings
Even while you are in office, you can take a few moments to have sweet nothings to your wife. You can chitchat with her during lunch hour or while you having sipping coffee in the afternoon. This may squeeze your purse a little bit, but it means a lot for your wife.
So guys, these are the simple rules of happy married life forever. Balance is must in your life. Remember that your professional excellence will put broad smile on your wife's face, and if your marital life is blissful, it will inspire you to climb higher on professional ladder.
