1. Spend quality time together. Having kids is not an excuse. Kids will be happier to see their parents happy together.
2. Don't let your worries affect your relationship with your spouse. But if something is bothering you, talk it over.
3. Hugs and kisses are essential in a relationship.
4. If you feel inadequate, check first what is wrong with you. It might not be your husband/wife or your relationship, it might be you. You might need to enhance your skills, hone your talents, read more, spend time with your friends, pamper yourself etc. etc. The list just goes on and on.
5. Temptations are inevitable, but you can avoid places and situations that will lead you to it. Should it come, always tell yourself as Bro. Bo says, it "Home Boy! Or Home Girl!
6. List down all the good traits of your spouse and you will feel really blessed marrying him/her.
7. Share jokes, stories, be goofy with each other. Truly bond with each other.
8. Rekindle the fire in your relationship. It is normal to have emotional dryness. Remember, Love is not a feeling. It is a commitment, a decision to love your spouse no matter what the circumstances.
9. Plan holidays together with your kids. Planning together brings excitement.
10. Surprise your spouse. You'll never know the happiness it would bring to your partner.
11. Ask questions about each other. Childhood memories, phobia, most embarrassing moments, happiest moment, etc. etc. You'll be surprised that there's a lot more to discover and it's one good way to really connect with each other.
12. Trust your spouse and trust that you can surpass all trials and challenges.
13. Remind yourself of your marriage vows especially during tough times.

15. Pray together. Go to church together. Attend spiritual seminars, Kerygma feast, community services together. Remember, a family that prays together, stays together.
