How to Save a Marriage Step #1
Assuming that your marriage or relationship has grown apart or separated, the first step is meeting them somewhere. Obviously he or she isn't going to be up for meeting you at your house or apartment at 8PM for a dinner and movie. That is trying to hard. Try meeting at a public place, such as a restaurant. Don't do dinner, instead maybe say "go for a cup of coffee" or "go out for lunch". Dinner sounds too much like a date, and this is not one.
How to Save a Marriage Step #2
Now you are going to have to tell him or her that you still have feeling and would like to work things out. Don't do this right out of the gate. Instead start some small talk. Ask "how are you doing?", "what's new in life?", "how is work?", and so on. Once he or she is comfortable, you can say that you miss her and would like to get back together. That is the hardest part, but to your surprise, he or she may be wanting the same thing and just too scared to say it. After all, he or she already did accept your invitation to go out, right?
