Save My Marriage - Relationship Advice

Have you searched all over the internet looking for relationship advice on how to " save my marriage"?

You are probably pretty frustrated by now, feeling sad, horrible, confused, and many other feelings as well.

If you have made it this far, you are definitely committed to saving your marriage. So I applaud you for your courage to look for help, and for your commitment to your marriage!

I know the biggest cause of failed marriages is affairs. Is this the case with your relationship?

Do you feel like you are ignored, and you don't matter? That is a horrible feeling, and a lonely place to be.

I have had many friends approach me for relationship advice. My friend Marcia came to me last year, asking "Can you help save my relationship?" for all intents and purposes she could have been asking me " Can you help save my marriage?"

She was not married at the time, but they were living together. He just sat on the couch and paid more attention to the t.v. and the video games than to her. She had tried consistently to talk to him, and let him know how she felt. He just continued to ignore her.

Marcia truly loved her boyfriend, and couldn't understand what was going on, why he was acting this way. After the relationship advice I gave her, they started to communicate effectively.

They have since been married and are coming up on their year anniversary!

"Save my marriage!", it should be a new anthem. The divorce rate still hovers at 50%, and it is even higher for subsequent marriages. That is scary, and I'm sure it prevents a lot of people from even considering marriage.

This is a true shame, because marriage really is a beautiful thing, but to have a marriage succeed you need effective communication, and this takes a lot of work. If you commit yourself to this it will be worth it in the end, your marriage will be stronger than you ever imagined.
