Love and Desire - The Essential Key
Every young person dreams of finding Prince Charming or their Sleeping Beauty and whether or not you are Paris Hilton or Brad Pitt many do not get to travel to exotic places and dine in castles like Princess Madeleine of Sweden. We all fantasize about the loved ones we may find someday and as our heart is circled by rose coloured petals and stars in our eyes the reality of it is: how deep is our desire, and how deep is our desire to truly love?
A fisherman does not hope to catch fish and neither does an investor hope to enlarge his portfolio. They love their task and have a burning desire to succeed and accompanying each catch is the desire to one day find that one big fish that will make all the others pale in comparison.
For most of the world that big fish is already caught but we do not realize it and think we should continue searching only to get a slap in the face a minute before it is too late.
Love and desire may never abate when couples work in harmony and each success no matter how small is another petal floating around the heart. It is a remarkable sight to see and meet with couples in their nineties and witness the stars that keep the sparks bright in their eyes.
What is their secret?
They discovered from day one that castles in the air were not for them and although there were romantic stories abounding with John Wayne, Maureen O'Hara, Tyrone Powers and Loretta Young with high seas adventures and wide prairies their home was their castle and to each other they were prince and princess.
Romanticism is not just for the movies and coupled with love and desire every relationship can be a fairy tale as long as the desire is a burning one otherwise go and have a cup of ice cream. Let me know which you prefer. Dia Dhuit.
