Adding Friends Enriches Life
The Happy Musing for the day: The comings and goings, the adding and subtracting of friends makes one's life richer.
We all love friends. I love friends whether they are long-time friends or new friends. Friends certainly make my life better and the more friends, the better! I look for new friends every day. I have a great opportunity because my art gallery/studio has people coming and going all the time. Many just stop in to say "Hi". Others come in for a dose of something positive. They nourish themselves on all kinds of happy messages and images. Many of these messages make up our gift art. They pour through the baskets of this gift art as if they were feeding at troughs. It makes me feel good to see them brighten and it always adds a friend or two to my collection.
This Happy Musing says: "...the adding and subtracting of friends." Actually I don't believe I have ever lost a friend. They may just go from sight, but the friendship remains. When one friend leaves it only means there is room for another.
My father-in-law was a great friend maker. He never met a stranger. Everyone was fair game for his endless, corny jokes and big smile. We loved him and still do. It is fun to see a little of him surface in his son, my husband, and his grandson, our son. I miss him on a human level, but then remind myself that we are all one in love. I do, of course, still love him as I do with all my friends, whether I see them or not.
I would like to add you to my friends' list. Please make a comment if you like. I am trying to connect with as many like-minded people as possible.
"Life is wonderful."
