By working together, it will make the separation process easier on everyone.
Another thing that you should consider doing for you and your spouse is to attend some type of mediation or counseling together. By doing this, you will help to open the floor to any feelings that need to be stated between the two of you. This will also help to relieve parts of the grieving process for both of you no matter what you are going through.
