Divorce - Fathers Aren t the Only Deadbeats

Every day as parents we do things we don't want to do. We get up set because we love our children and are hurt to see them not learning, especially when we know they can. The stubborn attitude some of our children have can create static, but it is always overcome by the love of a parent. Now the issue is, how does the stubborn attitude of a parent influence a child. Well, that depends on what a parent is being stubborn about. If there are guidelines for the child and the parent is stubborn regarding the enforcement of those rules, then the child is benefited in a positive manner. If a parent is stubborn about their personal recreation, things may not be as good for your child.

This may seem to be a simple and logical observation, however there are many mothers who still think it is ok for them to run around as though they do not have kids. There are also fathers, however not as many as people are given the impression of. With divorce rates on the rise, many courts automatically place the children in the home with their mother. This could be an ok situation, however it is not always. As I mentioned at the on set of this paragraph, even mothers make choices that are not with consideration of their children. This heartbreaking situation can and does impact the children, often more directly then a fathers personal dedication to recreation. As most children seek a close bond with their mother that is different than that of their father, a mothers poor choices have a more significant impact on the daily routine of their children. This can be devastating.

Even with at record of reckless behavior, many courts have awarded mothers custody of their minor children. This issue is one that causes a great deal of frustration for qualified loving fathers who seek to provide stability and a loving environment for their children. It is also something that holds a lasting impact on a child's outlook, personality and confidence. This can be one of great degradation as the perception of a child is that the mother cares more for other activities, than for them. As has been observed in a variety of studies, a mothers perceived love is a powerful thing. One children require for a stable and confident push into adult hood. Should a father be better qualified to raise the children independently, the distracted mother is able to still allow the perception of focused love. This is a healthier choice for the emotion and mental well being of a child.

The other problem often faced in circumstances of a custody battle. The problem is that there maybe a solid possibility that both parents are able, qualified and dedicated enough to care for the children, however they are to angry at each other to grasp it. This can be as big an issue as a wayward parent. If joint custody is a reasonable choice for the sake of the children, then it needs to be considered above what the parents want to do to hurt each other. Children are not pawns to injure each other, but blessings to love and cherish. Walk into court aware of this, and work together regardless if the father is the best full time parent, or if it is the mother.
