Keeping the Passion Alive

Be Thankful: Always show appreciation for your partner. Focus on their positive attributes, not those you would rather that they change. Also be sure to do thoughtful things. Ease their burden, don't add to it.

Give Compliments: If you have positive thought about your partner, be sure to voice them. Better out then in. Everyone needs positive strokes. Give your mater plenty of them. If your compliments are heart felt, they will help rekindle the passion.

Forgive: There will lots of opportunities in a relationship to get mad and hold a grudge. Try your best to avoid this. If have done this, release it. You will likely instantly feel much more attracted to your spouse and them sensing your lighter mood will want to spend more time with you.

Be Mindful of the Little Things: You don't have to use grand or expensive gestures to bring back the sizzle, little things can be just as effective. If you know that they like certain candy or want to see a new movie that was just released on video, stop by on your way home and get it for them. This will go a long way.

Keep Up the Mystery: Passion can be lost when each partner becomes predictable. To remedy this, try a new hobby, take a class. Your new interests will make you more mysterious to your partner.

Save Yourself: At the end of the day most people are tired and have little left to give their partner. Try your best to make sure that you have some left over energy and effort for your spouse.

The initial passion and attraction in a relationship gives it an opportunity to grow. When there is no chemistry and passion the relationship typically dies off and if we're lucky becomes a friendship. If you want your relationship to stay strong, do whatever you can to keep the flames burning. Try to keep some level of mystery, be mindful of the little things, forgive, give compliments and be thankful. Ultimately, remember to always try to impress your mate and ensure that they are happy. If you do so, you will no doubt be able to keep the passion alive.
