Gold Digger Attitude Attracts Sugar Daddy Attention

Gold digger women and men are attracting Sugar Daddy attention by proudly flaunting their bold agendas. It appears that the days in which the term 'gold digger' was used as an insult may be coming to an end, as sugar daddy hunting becomes startlingly popular and competitive.

From Anna Nichole Smith to Kevin Federline, famous gold diggers have worked their way up the social ladder by arranging mutually beneficial relationships with the rich and famous. Yet the recent advent of online sugar daddy dating has provided the average dater with an easy path to gold diggerhood.

In times past, being referred to as a gold digger was an undisputed 'put down'. From morning talk shows to Oprah, gold diggers were publicly humiliated for blatantly dating on the basis of financial gain. "I always felt guilty about preferring wealthy men" says one dater on a sugar daddy dating website.

As the divorce rate climbs, and the economy suffers, daters seem to be less afraid of dating with no-strings-attached (NSA). "Daters on our site prefer to keep things direct, and that would include certain financial expectations" says Brandon Wade, creator and CEO of a popular sugar daddy dating website.

A quick browse through gold digger profiles shows that their expectations are indeed direct and leave little to the imagination. In fact, one site has a special section for gold digger "allowances". Gold diggers can list a specific dollar amount they'd like each month. Still, many would-be gold diggers remain apprehensive about making such overt demands.

While being called a gold digger pejoratively is still an insult, the attitudes of many daters are starting to change, especially internet daters. With the vast majority of dating websites still catering to daters who seek committed, long-term relationships, many members of the online dating pool simply don't have the time or the desire to engage in traditional relationships.

Gold digging women and their male counterparts are often young, attractive, fashion forward individuals who place a high value on wealth and personal grooming. In most cases, gold diggers reciprocate sugar daddy generosity by providing beauty, companionship and intimacy.

Ask a gold digger how it's done and they'll tell you it's all about attitude, "it's all in how you demonstrate your quality as a person, and how you'd like to be pampered. Sugar Daddies want to pamper you, so I let them know I'm the one who can make it fun."-anonymous gold digger
