<title>Should Athletes Be Able to Express Their Religious Opinions and Still Be Respected?</title>
         <link>http://www.articlebin.info/recreation-and-sports/football/news_2008-10-07-02-10-04-515.html</link>
<description> In today&#039;s society, Athletes portray vital roles in our entertainment aspect. They are viewed as role models, respected as leaders and expected to set positive examples for upcoming athletes as well as for people in general. However, can they voice their religious opinions and beliefs, even if it disagrees with society, and still maintain the respect and admiration of the people. America offers freedom of speech, and respects your religious beliefs, so why are athletes excluded? In my opinion, athletes should maintain the same level of respect as society, still be admired and instill admiration, and their leadership not be of questioned if they comprise dissimilar religious beliefs.
