Top 10 Things In Sports That Suck

I am introducing a new column called 'Top 10 Things In Sports', a new weekly thing that I will do. Here is your list of the Top 10 things in sports that we are tired of hearing about, we hate, or just plain suck. With that, let the sucking begin. #10 NFL's Ban on Celebrations The league's new rule that stop players like Chad Johnson and Terrell Owens use their creativity and grace for celebrating should be considered a crime. Let the men spread their wings a little - no props allowed? that's just stupid. # 9 ESPN's Hot Seat At the first the Hot Seat was cool and somthing new, but now is like a boring desk job - the same everyday.

What Does Warrick Dunn Mean For The Buccaneers?

With the recent acquisition of fan favorite running back Warrick Dunn, tons of questions have been pondered. Rather than form my own question's that may never be answered, I have formed my idea of what Warrick Dunn spells for the Buccaneers and quite possibly the NFL. Firstly, I wonder whether or not Tenard Jackson will take one for the team. The young stud & steal of a safety the Buccaneers took in last years draft currently owns the right to Tampa Bays #28 jersey. This item must be of much interest to Dunn, who many hope to someday call the teams all-time leading rusher. Though Warrick has come off as the character who won't bring attention to the surface, I believe it's the only number Dunn should be wearing.

Last Chance - Buc Stops Here for Wide Receiver Antonio Bryant

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers took a shot in the dark on Monday, signing often troubled Receiver Antonio Bryant to an undisclosed contract. Though he has the skill set to be the teams #2 target and possible replacement following the eventual retirement of Joey Galloway, his track record speaks less than volumes on the character he has carried to the table thus far in his still young and promising career. In a 2006 report, Bryant's former coach Mike Nolan told reporters "He does get excited about certain things. He wants to get the ball... and at times maybe hasn't shown that in the best ways." Sound familiar?

Will the Oakland Raiders Make the NFL Playoffs Next Season?

Although JaMarcus Russell didn't get a lot of playing time last season, you have to think that the Oakland Raiders are a lot better than they were with an offensive threat like Russell taking the snaps. Last season, it was painfully obvious that the Raiders really had no chance of getting to the post season even with the AFC West being as bad as it was, but with the little time that their first pick got in on the action, you could tell times were a changing for fans of the Silver & Black. In the off season, the Raiders, believe it or not, made some pretty prominent changes to make the team much better for the up coming season like signing both wide receiver Javon Walker and corner DeAngelo Hall.

Buccaneers Sign A Real Trouper

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have made yet another move to bolster there tight end position with the signing of former Tennessee Titan and Florida Gator Ben Troupe. At 624 and 270 pounds, Troupe is an incredibly gifted athlete. His obvious size, coupled with his soft hands, and deceptive speed, has caused plenty of headaches since the big time tight end left the swamp as one of the years most promising prospects and eventually the 40th pick in the 042 NFL Draft. In joining the Bucs, Troupe brings with him 106 career grabs for 1, 056 and seven TD's. Although most of those numbers came during his first two seasons when he exploded onto the NFL scene with 88 catches for 5 TD's and 859 yards!

Defense Attorneys - Lehman McCoy

The field is their courtroom. The Offense is their Plaintiff. Their.. well.. you get the idea. With the NFL Draft still over a month away, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were able to pry away two 2nd round picks from fellow NFC opponents on Wednesday with the signings of New Orleans Saints Linebacker Matt McCoy and former Detroit Lion Teddy Lehman. Already established as one of the leagues best young talents, former Dick Butkus and Chuck Bednarik award winner Teddy Lehman will again attempt to beat the injury bug in 2008, and as a Buccaneer fan, I cant even imagine the benefits if he does. After being drafted with the 5th pick in 2004, Lehman literally played himself out of his well-deserved starting role.

Not Your Ordinary Joe - Buccaneers Sign Linebacker Leon Joe

Following the release of Shelton Quarles last season, Derrick Brooks' natural athletic decline, Ryan Nece's faulty play as of late and the teams unimpressive depth behind Middle Linebacker Barrett Ruud, news of the Buccaneers signing of former Chicago Bears standout special teams Linebacker Leon Joe comes to many as quite the relief. However, the best is yet to come. Leon Joe, at age 26, doesn't have speed like you see in Free Agent Linebacker Rosevelt Colvin. He doesn't have the experience or discipline like former Dolphins Linebacker Zach Thomas. To tell you the truth, he's probably not regarded as solid signing at the Linebacker position to some.

No Faine, No Gain! - Buccaneers Sign Pro Bowl Caliber Center Jeff Faine

Sure, we could sit here and come up with corny ways to tell you the Bucs signed former New Orleans Saints Center Jeff Faine, but we figure it's not for the Faine of hearts. In an attempt to solidify what has quickly become one of the most exciting spots on the Buccaneers roster, the 26 year old Faine is expected to help fortify an offensive line that has already made strides despite it's youth and inexperience. His 6 year 37.5 million dollar contract makes him the leagues highest paid player at that position. A former Pro Bowler, Faine started his career with the Cleveland Browns who took the 623 290 pound beast in the first round of the 2003 NFL Draft out of the University of Notre Dame.

The Top 10 Greatest Quarterbacks of All Time

Everybody always loves to have this debate. Its an argument that will stand the test of time. Everytime someone new comes along the older quarterbacks will slowly be bumped off. Who knows what this list will look like 100 years from now? But without further ado, here is my list of the top10 quarterbacks of all time: 10) Terry Bradshaw - Might be most well known for being a commentator nowadays, but back in his playing days he just happen to have won 4 super bowls. The guy had an absolute cannon for an arm. 9) Steve Young - As gifted an athlete that has ever played the position. Always was in the shadow of Joe Montana.
