General Pace And Gay Morality
Homosexual activists want Marine General Peter Pace forced out of the service because he called sex between two homosexuals immoral. General Pace specifically said, "I believe homosexual acts between two individuals are immoral and that we should not condone immoral acts. I do not believe the United States is well served by a policy that says it is OK to be immoral in any way." The general went on to explain, "I would not want acceptance of overt homosexual behavior to be our policy, just like I would not want it to be our policy that if we were to find out that so-and-so was sleeping with somebody else"s wife, that we would just look the other way, which we do not.
Easter Eggs - Their Origin
As so often with religious traditions, Easter eggs, and the Lenten abstaining from them, originates in very sensible (in this case rural) practicalities. Easter in the Northern Hemisphere in which it originates is a Spring early harvest festival (effectively the Jewish Passover). The formula for Easter Sunday was set at the Council of Nicaea in 325. Passover falls on full moon (14 Nissan of the Jewish calendar) and so, in the early church, many Christians celebrated Christ"s resurrection on that day - which could be any day of the week. At Nicaea there was agreement Easter Day needed to be always a Sunday.

Networking Five-Fold Ministries - Joshua Apostolic Prophetic Network
We are a Apostolic Prophetic global network community focused on sharing and equipping with Five-fold Ministry insight for believers around the world, and to develop new networking relationships with Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers, both locally and abroad. It was He who gave some to be Apostles, some to be Prophets, some to be Evangelists, and some to be Pastors and Teachers, 12, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up, 13, until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
Servants of the Lord s Vineyard - Scriptural
A Grave Moral and Community Obligation - As a tenants and custodians of the world we have a responsibility to care for the environment (Gen 2:15) especially when that environment directly affects our health and that of others. A quick glance at our world will show that we have caused it to slide even from its fallen state. Much of the damage done to the Lord"s vineyard has come from ravaging the earth"s resources in pursuit of economic gain. Instead of worshiping and seeking the almighty God, our culture has gone berserk after the almighty dollar. To be clear, there is nothing wrong with earning a living and nothing wrong with having personal property.
The King James Version, Inspired or Not
The controversy as to whether the King James Version of the Bible is the inspired Word of God or not has raged over many generations of Christians. Some believers unwaveringly claim it is the inspired word and others hold just as strongly that it is not. Occasionally, the opposing views can be so vehemently embraced that is causes schisms in the body and ministry suffers. That something like this could bring Christians to loggerhead in light of incontrovertible evidence is difficult to understand. We can understand when unbelievers stir up controversy about scripture, but not when it comes from those who have been enlightened by the Spirit of God.
Tears Will Come Before Your Healing And Five Ways To Use My Story To Heal Your Life
Tears fall before the healing I remember so clearly the train ride. I can remember the open display of tears in public as I boarded the train. I can remember the fog that settled around my shoulders on that trip. My life and child had left, and in one argument all the meaning in my life was snatched away. Yes the tears, I remember every one of them as they trickled down my face. I remember the looks of other passengers. I could see the lovely countryside, the cows, the sheep and the blue sky. But God could have done anything that day and I"m sure he was trying to shake me from the numbness that was taking me in its grasp.
The Secret Life
Have you ever been sitting at a table for Christmas dinner with the family, but part of you is absent? There"s dad carving the roast, and mother happily sharing all the news of the family around the table and getting all the conversation flowing. There"s your brothers and your sisters and all the in- laws and then there"s you. They talk about babies and love and relationships, and you nod your head and agree where you can and laugh at the jokes, and you"re part of the family. To everybody present, you may be a little sullen, but your the brother and they know even though you are quite now, you can talk their ears off if given a chance.
Water And Wine
Is there unrighteousness with God? No. The Bible tells us that God will, bless whom He will Bless, and Curse, whom He shall Curse. All being within His will, and His plan for each and every, man, woman and Child upon this earth. Those that are poor in this life, fearing God, shall be rich in the next, for eternity. Those that are rich in this life, without the fear of God, shall be brought low, and humbled in the next, for eternity. Why are there poor and rich, why are there those, that drink wine, while others drink water? We see the answer to this in Romans 9:13-6; As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
God Gives Grace to the Humble and God Resists to Proud James 4:6
James 4:6 6 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: " God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble." I am not sure about you but sometimes I find it really hard to sit in a church week after week and listen to sermons that don"t add anything to you. I sat in a church for two years and did that and then in one angry phone call with the pastor I left. If you haven"t guessed it already, I had pride issues and still need a bit of counselling to get right down to the bottom of it. When you proud though it"s amazing how other people pick it up in your manner. I know a person that is really proud.
