It Shall Be Done

Our most Gracious Heavenly Father. I come to you in the Name of Your Son Jesus Christ according to your word. Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. Have you ever asked yourself, why your prayers are not answered? There are a few things that all must know and understand about praying to God. 1.God is the Almighty, and has the Power over all things, visible and invisible.

Native Americans Are Renewing Their Traditions - Here Is One Way

One way that Native groups have attempted to renew and retain their traditions have been through ceremonies. In the past, ceremonies have been an important part of Native American tradition and in the twentieth century the natives have tried to revive these ritualistic actions. An example of some of these new ceremonies can be found in the Native American church. Native American church members spend whole Saturday nights in special ritual action. Led by a "roadman" the members smoke cigarettes which are rolled inside of corn husks. The group also ingests a portion of the peyote plant which gives individuals the feeling of being "high" or filled with inspiration.

Wicca - An Old And New Religion

Wicca can be considered an old religion because its roots are in the past. During medieval times there was a form of Wicca in Europe. However, the Christian church attacked any shadow of witchcraft activity. The church had classified all forms of witchcraft as pagan and they perceived paganism as a counter effort to their work as Christians. Examples are the witch hunts in Salem, and the Spanish inquisition. Witchcraft suffered a lot of persecution which caused the movement to go underground for centuries. In the twentieth century witchcraft began to arise again as many scholars began to study its historical tradition.

Time and Space - Which Runs Out First

Both science and the Bible speak of a cessation of time but each in their own peculiar way. The only difference is that the Bible view doesn"t stop after time has stopped. In fact that is just the beginning. To be fair we will have to present the equation for both science and the Bible to show that both come to the same conclusion. Unfortunately one leaves man hopeless and the other carries man to a realm where hope becomes reality. To travel anywhere in space man needs to increase the speeds of our craft to nearly the speed of light. Unknown to most is that presently we have only managed to propel payloads to the neighborhood of about 30, 000 miles per hour.

The Christian University - An Education Enlightened By Faith

According to Auguste Comte (1798-1857), the founder of the field of sociology, true science precludes religious considerations, and empirical investigation is the only reliable way to truth. In the late 1870s, William Graham Sumner, a Yale University professor in political science, adopted Herbert Spencer's The Study of Sociology as a textbook, despite the book's characterization of Christianity as a superstition that true scientists needed to be rid of. "Mr. Spencer's religious opinions seem to me of very little importance, " he wrote. "When I was looking for a book on sociology, the question whether it was a good or available book in a scientific point of view occupied my attention exclusively.

Paying Obeisance to Planned Obsolescence

A diabolically clever marketing concept is one referred to as " Planned Obsolescence." This can be defined as the conscious decision on the part of a retailer to produce products that will become obsolete and/or non-functional within a defined time frame. This causes consumers to have to buy the product repeatedly, as their old one is no longer functional or desirable. From cars to computers, commerce to clothing, the marketing world has been taking advantage of - and in many cases, creating - the consumer's short attention span since the 1920's when mass production became a part of our everyday lives.

My Daughter s Love - From The Heart Of Jesus

In her quest to find ethnic diversity at what would be her home for the next four years, my daughter did extensive research on a small number of colleges, praying to find the perfect fit for her Christian beliefs, personality, and values. Growing up in a neighborhood where there was very little diversity, was an experience my daughter will forever cherish. Spending her childhood years being educated in school settings where she was the only one who looked completely different than her classmates, was truly an enlightening experience my daughter can never forget. In her home where she was taught to love, regardless of the one"s skin color, is the life long lesson that proceedeth and poureth from the Word and Heart of God from me to my daughter.

Chief God of Early Hinduism

One of the chief God of early Hinduism is Vishnu (the preserver). The two other chief gods are Brahma (the creator) and Shiva (the destroyer). In this article I will be focusing on Vishnu (the preserver). The chief god of early Hinduism Vishnu is said to pervade all. He is said to have an inconceivably large form. In one of the scripture He says: "All the world I have placed within my own self, And my own self have I placed within all the worlds... All the vital airs have I placed within my own self, And my own self have I placed within all the vital airs." In others Vishnu pervades the universe and is to be found in all its forms.

My Unusual Near-Death Experience- A True Story

I recently wrote an article about how I came so close to death the hospital declared me terminal, and how a medical directive I wrote the evening before my surgery saved my life. Two years have passed since then and I want to pass on my experience during those days when I should have died, but didn"t, before it is lost from my mind. Until now I have not wanted to share it. This really is a true personal experience. There is not much I remember about the day I had surgery. I remember being wheeled out of my hospital room, and I remember wondering if I had made the right decision. I recall feeling myself slipping away as I looked up at the operating table light.

Ethics Related To Witchcraft

Don't manipulate others and force them to do things against their will. It's not worth the consequences (I didn't believe there would be any until I experienced a few myself). There is so much free energy and so many free resources that it is virtually unnecessary to manipulate (e.g. bend others to your will without giving them a choice) in order to obtain your goals. If you're ever in doubt as to whether you should do something to or for someone, just imagine how you'd feel if someone did the same thing to you without giving you a choice. Don't use magick as a form of escapism from physical reality.
