Memory Cross Coloring Cards - Unique Christian Homeschool Easter Craft
Are you looking for an exciting new craft for your homeschool group to do for Easter? You may want to consider Memory Cross Easter Coloring cards!
A Memory Cross is a four panel interactive card that is designed origami style. They unfold to reveal selected bible verses. Most are bright and colorful and are used to share the gospel and aide in Scripture memorization.
The creator, Pastor Andy Lambert, originally intended them to be used in children"s sermons to tell bible stories. He was searching for a tool that would help capture the attention of the children and help them to memorize verses. Because he couldn"t locate anything that met this needs, he teamed up with another pastor and the owner of a printing business to create what are now known as Memory Cross cards.
For Easter, they have a product that is designed to fold like the originals, but look more like coloring book pages. It uses select bible verses to tell the Easter story. Kids will love coloring them and after they are done, they will still enjoy flipping their creation around to show off the Easter story to others.
The first panel displays Jesus on a donkey on Palm Sunday and the final panel shows His wonderful Resurrection. Even younger children, who may not yet be able to read the panels, can use this craft to remind them of the Easter story so they can tell it again and again.
After Easter, you can try the various collections of Memory Cross cards that all teach selected bible verses. There are packs that teach the Ten Commandments, the Apostles" Creed, the Lord"s Prayer, and other collections of favorite verses! Your kids will no longer roll their eyes when it is scripture memory time!
Sheryl Frey is a Christian mom dedicated to helping others find great Christian products like Memory Cross to share their faith. She also organizes the Memory Cross Kids challenge. For more information please see Source: http://ezinearticles.com/
