What Makes Election Truly Change Or Transform The Course Of Our Sustainable Culture?
Leader, leader where are you? Are you still sleeping? In the history of mankind, the success and fall of a nation lies upon the leader. In the present time, you can seldom find a true and dedicated leader doing their job well in the service of mankind. Many leaders nowadays sad to say that majority of them were just only after for money, power, as well as recognition. IT HURTS, IT HURTS YOU KNOW! But it"s really true - our world suffers because of some selfish leaders!
Election is coming soon and the writer firmly believed that election is the only way to have an opportunity and chance to elect and choose the best leader that we liked. Only during this time of election we can have some prospects as well as can exercise our rights "the freedom of suffrage". Being a concern citizen of this country, we should therefore, use our coconut shells and open our eyes to scrutinize, to evaluate the qualifications of the candidate! We should always encourage and motivate ourselves to be honest and to be wise in choosing and selecting the best and the good candidates.
It is clear! The most successful organizations, businesses, athletic teams, artistic groups, and governmental agencies agonized over selection. You can't afford to elect a person who is not completely qualified. As a young historian, through my readings, I observed and discovered that 80% of a Nation's success lies in the selection of a good, capable and qualified leader. As many as 2/3 of choices fail to measure up. So, how can we choose and select the best high caliber leader for our country?
First. Encourage ourselves to choose for a lesser evil. Whether we like it or not, nowadays we cannot really find real genuine leaders for most of the leaders who are running today are only just after for power, recognition, money, and most of all popularity. That is why; we should try to scrutinize their plata porma, family background, educational background, political background, so we can escape from the sayings, History Repeat Itself!
Two. Encourage ourselves to stand for what is true and noble. What I am trying to convey is that, we should stand firm to our principle. Do not sell our rights! For this is the only opportunity that we can exercise our freedom of suffrage. Above all, this is the only opportunity that we can have a change and innovation for good of our country. Therefore, do not let others to manipulate our decisions. Stand firm. Be a man! Don"t acts like a coward!
Three. Encourage ourselves to ask guidance from the Lord. The word of God reminded us that we should "Be very careful, then, how live - not unwise but as wise, making every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what Lord's will is" (Ephesians 5:17-17). We know that without God, we are all vanities, in all vanities under heaven! Even the most wises man on earth, King Solomon acknowledge that. Proverbs 16:3 encouraged us to "commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed" (NIV).
Finally, Paul tells us to pray for those in positions of authority. "Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence" (1 Timothy 2:1-2).
We should always remember that the future of our country and our generations lies upon our hands! We should act now for a change! Be wise! Think and Grow Rich!
