Time to Quarantine Africa - AIDS it s Too Late!

Tracking the Monster which is out of control in Africa is easy, because AIDS is everywhere. People are dying and leaving behind children, worse off children are being born with HIV and the situation is dire. These horrific situations are almost insurmountable. Some are already calling for the complete quarantine of much of Africa and simply let the disease run its course. Of course it will kill everyone.

But if we give up hope or quit the mission will that solve any problem? What about China and India where AIDS is also spreading, do we plan to quarantine them too? Forget about Bird Flu, AIDS is already fully blown and out of control in Africa. Is anyone doing anything meaningful to stop this monster?

Indeed, many groups are. In fact we hear about them all the time, yet often we do not here the stories of those in the trenches. One group our Online Think Tank ran across was KENWA and they are on a very impressive mission to help those with the dreadful disease of AIDS and it is extremely noble of them to wish to help Africans with agricultural issues and so many other important challenges.

Their plan is a robust multi-facited and localized community based solution, which includes caring for the orphans of AIDS victims, educating the next generation, teaching them agriculture, helping them with water supply issues and even crossing the digital divide. So, as this model proves its value then it can be taken across the continent. KENWA is on the right track so let's not give up just yet. www.kenwa.org.
