Two of the most popular are the Toyota Prius and the Ford Escape. Both of these models offer great gas mileage, and have really laid the ground work for more cars like them in the near future.
Although many people feel that green car performance is an area that needs to be improved upon, this is not always the case. Automakers are looking for ways to offer the same amount of performance in green cars as they do in those that run on straight gasoline. While this issue is not completely taken care of at this time, things are moving in the right direction. Cars like the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord hybrids have a lot to offer. They are environmentally friendly, but at the same time they offer the same power as other cars in its class.As you can see, environmentally friendly cars are on their way up. As the auto industry begins to progress, more and more green cars will be taking the road.
