How many ways are there to make money on the Internet? From all the opportunities that I have seen, I would venture to guess in the hundreds of thousands. Every website has to have a host. Most businesses on the Web today use a shared server with that host. This simply means they are paying a small fee to share the server that they are on with other businesses. So what is this dedicated server all about?
When you utilize and pay for a dedicated server, you are now the only business that the server now hosts. What this means to you is you are not sharing the bandwidth or space with other businesses. You now have a lot more space for traffic. This is an excellent benefit to have when the whole reason for having a website is to have your site viewed by thousands. Without traffic, you are like a needle in the proverbial haystack. No one will be able to find you. With a dedicated server you now have a lot more bandwidth to bring in the traffic your site requires for monetization.
