Get Rich Slowly: Build A Profitable Website In Your Own Time



If you have ever tried a Get Rich Quick scheme, you"ll know that they don"t work. And they don"t work, because you CAN"T get rich overnight unless you are very very lucky. You CAN, however, get rich SLOWLY, by which I mean you can generate enough income to live comfortably free from the drudgery and pressures of a day job. That is what I call being rich anyway.

So how do you get rich slowly by building a profitable website?

Here are some key steps:

1 - Decide on a theme for a content rich website, one that will provide invaluable information to keep visitors coming back.
2 - Do your homework on keywords and construct your webpages to win the war on those keywords, remembering that it may take a long time to do this.
3 - Drive traffic to your website by constantly adding more and more great information and generating links from other websites to yours to increase your traffic ranking at the big search engines like Google and Yahoo.
4 - Employ the latest strategies to keep your visitors happy, like giving them FREE information, sending them a monthly E-Zine or asking for their opinions, maybe even giving them their own page on your site.
5 - Keep a close watch on your traffic stats and when you reach a certain level, maybe 200 visitors per day, start to offer them something, like a product closely related to your website theme. You don"t actually need to sell anything yourself - just give your visitors a link to a relevant website using a so called affiliate scheme; your visitor buys something and you collect the commission.
6 - Keep building more great Content and adding to your various income streams. Before you know it, you have a profitable E-Business.

Now none of this is EASY and, if you are a complete novice, it can"t be done overnight, BUT if you are willing to work at it, you can get IT and become one of the growing number of small business owners running an E-Business.
