If you want free and relevant traffic then search engines must recognize your web page as relevant to be freely listed. If you want to monetize your web page for free or if you want your website to show up when a word that has some connection to your web content then keyword optimization is the first way to go.
How to drive traffic through keyword optimization?
This is where it goes far beyond the write-host-earn ideal situation. You have content that may be a thousand times qualitative and has the most useful information as far as info on defective parenting ( a keyword example for this article) is concerned. But what if it fails to show up when somebody types the word "defective parenting".
