How Difficult Could It Be To Make Money On The Internet?
Hi & Thank You for taking the time to read my article. Believe it or not, this is my first time in writing an article, so I hope I make a good impression on you.
Lets begin: So how difficult could it really be to make money on the internet? It would seem easy enough seeing as there are so many 'gurus' out there making a killing on the internet. I mean, do you ever wonder if these gurus have some 'magic formula' for creating unlimited amounts of money from the internet? What gets me is that they seem to do it so easily & effortlessly. However, lets not forget they were also at one point beginners like you & I. So where does that leave the average person who is starting out?
Really, there is so much hype out there that no wonder the average person cannot differentiate between what's real & what's not. I guess that alone, would make it very difficult for any person, to try & make any money on the internet & eventually give up on their internet dream. Another problem I've noticed people face, when they do enter the internet world, is that there is never any 'real' support. If only internet marketers would be more mindful of these people who are not very experienced on the internet & offer some genuine guidance, then I think the internet would be a much better place to do business.
I myself have been a victim to all those hyped up programs, hoping to be an instant success overnight. But of course I wasn't & it always left me feeling very disillusioned & just wanting to give up & try something else that was not internet related. But as you can see, I did not waiver from my quest to make money off the internet. I just put it down to my learning journey & I just continued to battle on, looking for that something that would open up those flood gates to internet riches. I am happy to report that not all sites are a complete waste of time & money, which I later found out.
Anyway, during my internet learning journey, one thing I have discovered that I think is quite viable when doing business online, is that you do need your 'own space' on the internet. What this means is that you do need your own website with your own 'domain name'; something you can develop & change as you see fit. I guess its like owning real estate, once you own it, you can always improve it to increase its value so it will always attract good quality tenants & will always be rented. Your own website works very much in the same way. When you have it, you will want & need to add content & change it around to continue to attract good quality customers, who are interested in what you have to offer. You can also use your site to launch your own products or simply to sell other peoples products.
It took me 8 years to finally figure this one out & now that I have my own website, I absolutely love it. I feel like I now have my own mark on the internet where people will recognize me & my site. Was it difficult to do or was it expensive I hear you ask? Well I'm happy to say It was very easy to set up & add my content & very reasonably priced, considering what I got with it. In fact my site came professionally designed & my back office is full of video training tutorials I can refer to at any time, so I know exactly what needs to be done to make money. Also, when I purchased my site I was enrolled in Boot Camp training where my instructor, George Kosch, who is an internet genius & has been successfully doing business online since 1994, showed me exactly how to set up my site & how to drive traffic to it. If I have any problems I can always revert back to him & he is more than happy to help me out. The best part about my website, which is completely unique & different from any other conventional website, is that it also comes with my very own 'LIVE Business Centre'. I actually have live people whom you can see & talk to via a chat area working on my site 24 hours, 7 days a week, directing & assisting my customers & closing sales for me when I am not even there. Having this feature alone was priceless & it really made a world of difference for me. I am now seeing the results & making sales, which I wasn't doing before. Another point that I do want to add, is that although I have been getting by with 'FREE' advertising, I now think its time to upgrade to a paid membership of some 'safe lists' recommended by George, who has experienced great results. This will further boost quality traffic through my site & my sales as well. I will report on this at a later date to let you know how my campaign went with this initiative. In the meantime, I truly do feel like I'm in business now with what I have achieved so far.
So has my journey been easy? No, not at all. Its been bumpy to say the least, but now I feel I'm in for a much smoother ride. So my message to all new people coming onto the internet to try & make money; DO NOT give up no matter how difficult it seems or how overwhelming it can get. Stick to it because it will happen, usually when you least expect it . Always try to remember that old cliché 'Rome wasn't built in a day'.
