Influence Marketing - Internet Marketing Plus Influence Equals Wealth

Is it surprising that the Science of Influence Marketing has had so much influence?

The principals and techniques of Influence Marketing are timeless. They were probably used by cave men...and cave women! Now we all can learn what the influential people in history always knew.

Influence is not bad, as long has people are not being influenced to do things that are bad for them. More on this later, but in the mean time please don't use this stuff to...etc. etc. etc.

Why are internet marketing mega sellers are all over this stuff? Because it is the reason they are mega sellers. Internet marketing mega sellers rock because they know how to influence people to buy, or opt-in or jump up and down. Everyday we are influenced but only the big time sellers use the concepts and strategies of Influence Marketing to their advantage.

Why does it work? It works because people need decision making short cuts. More on this later, but for now just trust me, because I have 3 best sellers on the subject, all your friend trust me and it's about to run out. (Ok, no best sellers, your friends don't trust me and there's plenty, but stick with me anyway).

Think about this: Ever just vaguely want something, and then you discover it is in short supply or that price is going up or the bonuses are going away. Did you want it more? That's Scarcity. Of course internet marketers never use scarcity do they?

"But I always read through that scarcity stuff. It doesn't affect me." Oh ok.

  • Why do you buy best sellers? Best Sellers sell more because they have sold more.

  • Ever buy something because a friend recommended it or because it had good reviews?

What's this called? Well the super fancy dancy term is Social Proof. Think about it, do you ever buy anything without considering the social Proof? Social Proof rocks and it is the bedrock of our decision making.

Let me ask you a question. You're enjoying this little article, right? You really appreciate me taking time to write it, right? If you feel like I have given you something, then I bet you would be more inclined to want to give me something in return. Yes you guessed it that's our third principal. Reciprocity is when you feel obligated to pay people back for favors they do for you or things they give you or do for you.
