There are millions of people would like to give up their jobs earn their living online, but many find it very difficult. Here's an important question to ask - why do some businesses succeed and other fail?
Are there any secrets shared by the successful ones? I carried out some researching to find out what all the Best Internet Businesses having common.
These are some of the answers I have discovered by talking to dozens of entrepreneurs with many years of experience.
1) Make a Plan.
This may sound simple and obvious but if you don't have a plan how do you know what to do? Think about what you want to achieve and how you are going to get there. Break your plan down into small manageable steps so that it is achievable, and add a realistic timescale to each step.
2) Take Action!
It's no good having a plan unless you carry out the tasks from it. Don't try to do to much at once - focus on just one thing at a time and keep going until it is finished. Turn off the TV, the phone, MSN and Skype and lock the door etc so that you are not interrupted.
A lot of people make excuses for not doing anything such as I don't have the time as I'm working. Adjust your schedule eg don't watch TV as much to free up some extra time.
The most successful people all take massive action, so you should do so as well!
3) Automate Tasks.
There are so many aspects of businesses that can be automated so look for the tools you need to do this from auto-responders to automated delivery systems. Your can save many hours of work and make the whole business easier to run giving your more time to spend on building the business further.
4) Test Everything.
It clearly isn't worth spending 7 hours writing and submitting articles that brings you 23 visitors who only earn you $1.37. It is really important to test your results and once you have found out what is cost effective expand and repeat those activities.
5) Outsource Work.
Don't try and do everything yourself - hire expert freelancers to perform tasks for you. For example your may want somebody to do the graphics for your websites, write the software to run it.

Online business can be lonely for their owners, but remember many other people are in the same position as you are, so go out and find them then you can swap information, ideas and encouragement each other.
