How to Generate More Sales Than You Can Possibly lmagine Through Email Marketing

Most people just don't get it when it comes to email marketing. They think they can blast someone with information and just list features and benefits and that person will magically convert into a sale. Well...they're wrong. Unless you understand that people are being bombarded with advertising everyday and they're sick of being sold something all the time, you're in for a long internet marketing journey!

The key to succeeding with email marketing is to speak to someone like you would talk to a friend. And then, to invite them to check something out just like you would invite a friend. So, for example, let's say you're selling an amazing musical CD for toddlers that subliminally potty trains them. This is how you could approach your list:

Hey John. It's me Jordan. How's it going?

Man, I've been trying to potty train my little two year old, Luke, for the last month and it has been such a pain! When I think I finally got him going on the toilet, the next day he suddenly has memory loss and a dry diaper is a thing of the past! It's so frustrating.

But here's what happened. I found this CD that supposedly helps train kids to want to use the toilet all the time, and it does it through something like subliminal messages.

Yeah, I know, I was skeptical at first too. I thought it was some kind of joke. In fact, I didn't even buy it... my wife did. To be honest, I thought she was so gullible, but I said, "What the heck," and decided to help her give it a try.

Well, all I can say is... my wife was right. It really works. You need to check this out for yourself. Head over to www.hypnotizeyourtoddler.com to see what it's all about.

I hope it helps you like it helped us.

Take care,

Jordan

That's it. I know this example was kind of ridiculous, but if you want to make sales, you've gotta start speaking to your prospects like a friend. And then, tell them to go do something. Whenever I find something really cool, I'll send an email to my family and friends and tell them, "You've gotta go check this out." I'm not shy about it at all. And you shouldn't be either.

People are so sick of all the hype online that by talking to them casually, you can really get through to them.
