There are many websites offering web hosting rebates. "Earn $50 cash rebate when you sign up here." Are they legit though? Yes and no. Here is how it works. .. Web hosting companies pay a generous commission to anyone who refers a new customer. So, what these people are doing is taking the commissions you earn them for signing up for a new web hosting plan through them, and paying you that commission. Why would they do that? Chances are if they are paying you $50 that they are receiving $60 or more in commissions, so they hope the volume of new customers they sign up will make up for the money they have to pay out. ...
