Doctor Gudakunst Tips For Permanent Weight Loss
Hello everyone, I just read some solid information on America's weight/obesity problem and why it is a struggle to achieve permanent weight loss. I thought I would share a couple of the Tips I found.
#1 Begin To Think Outside The Box:
We do live in a capitalist society and sometimes we forget this. What am I saying? Well for the most part the money comes first; as a matter of fact I have heard some people put it this way. "If you can't make money doin it, then its probably not worth doin" I have no problem with making lots of money, but this type of approach to life puts the average consumer in the position to have to research products and services prior to buying; especially where your health is concerned.
So one of Dr. Gudakunst tips on achieving permanent weight loss is to not only look at traditional methods and see traditional doctors; but to also slowly but surely begin to explore alternative weight loss advice and methods. Go online or sit down and talk to a holistic doctor. Now, a traditional drug dispensing doctor might tell you to stay away from these doctors. Why? holistic doctors are more likely to employ natural-preventive methods and diet adjustment instead of drugs. Just get references and recommendation and you will be fine.
Start To Explore The World Of Alternative/Healthy Living:
I'm telling you if you haven't been to a modern market lately that specializes in healthier alternative foods, you are really missing out. I live in Atlanta, and these stores are very popular here. These people are no longer sacrificing taste, in order to eat healthier. Every food category imaginable has interesting tasty alternatives to the foods that have made most of us fat. Stores like "Trader Joes" and "Whole Foods" make living a healthier life a lot easier.
#2 Move!!
I know you have heard it before, but it is so necessary. Exercise has a magical effect on out lives. For starter you will literally feel better and have a improved outlook in most cases. I just heard on the national news that a study was conducted with individuals battling depression. One group was given typical anti-depression drugs.
The other was put on a moderate exercise regiment. The study found that after two months the effects of drugs vs. exercise were even. But over the long haul, the study revealed that exercise was much more effective than drugs. We plan and simply have to move. Just do it! All it takes is 30 minutes 3-times a week. Choose something you enjoy, you will not regret it.
