Lose Weight for Vacation - A Well Planned Diet

It's almost that time of year again. Everyone is planning their summer vacations and everyone wants go get in shape. No one wants to look bad in a bikini... right? Most people will try to diet and will never lose a pound. Some may actually gain weight. The statistics show that 95% of diets fail. That means that only 5 people out of every 100 will actually succeed at losing weight. What is the secret? One of the best ways to lose weight for vacation is a well planned diet.

A well planned diet combined with exercise can cause rapid weight loss and great results. Sadly, most people will never plan out a diet. They will just try to eat less than they normally would. They don't try to figure out how many carbs or proteins or fats they should be eating. They only count calories. This is one of the worst ways to diet. Lets say you normally eat around 2000 calories a day. When you try to diet, you cut your calories down to 1000 a day. This will not help you lose weight. Your body will adjust to your 1000 calorie diet and slow down your metabolism to only burn 1000 calories a day. When you see that your diet is not working and you go back to what you would normally eat, you will actually gain weight because your metabolism is slower. A poorly planned diet is one of the biggest reasons that most diets fail.

In conclusion, if you want to lose weight for vacation, make sure you have a well planned diet. This will not only cause you to lose weight much quicker, it will actually make you much healthier.
