Lose Weight Permanently - No. 4 - Focus On A Healthier Lifestlye

Losing weight is not something that will just happen. You have to MAKE it happen. You may not like the thought of focusing on your health but it will help you in the long run. It takes concentration on your part - especially in the first few months when you are new to the regimen and the rigor of a healthier lifestyle.

We all have ideas of what makes us healthy. Some of us like to think we are healthy even when we are not. That is understandable - it takes effort to be healthy. It doesn"t just happen to us. You have to go out and do things to make it real. What you eat, how you exercise and how you live your life are all important - and they need careful planning. Being "healthy" for a few months is easy - it gives you a boost. But keeping that going for the long term needs work.

So focus on being healthy. Having the motivation to "be thin" puts too much pressure on outward appearance. It means you are doing it for the wrong reasons (although it is great to look good). The focus should be placed towards a healthy style of living. Think about food that is healthy for your body, not which foods will add on pounds. Think about how much exercise you will do on a particular day not on whether you can be bothered to do any at all.

Soon you will be able to introduce healthy life style maintenance changes throughout every day. That will get, and keep you, fat free.
