What is the Cookie Diet?
The "Cookie Diet" was created in 1975 by Dr. Sanford Siegal. Throughout the 33 years of it's existence, it has been attacked by critics and downplayed by skeptics. But one fact remains certain: The Cookie Diet is still here, and it's only growing in popularity.
If you do any amount of research online concerning the Cookie Diet, it won't be long before you find a long list of critics standing in line to denounce this creation and its creator. But you have to ask yourself, have any of these "critics" actually tried what it is they are ripping apart?
Remember, there are two sides to every story.
When you research a little further, you'll find people who have actually been on the Cookie Diet, and have lost massive amounts of weight in short periods of time. So you have to ask yourself: Do I believe someone who has actually tried this diet or not?
So, What Is The Cookie Diet?
Dr. Siegal created the cookie diet to help his patients stay on their diets with a minimal amount of effort. He realized that when someone is feeling hungry all the time, they will do whatever it takes to satisfy that hunger, whether it follows their diet plan or not.
So Dr. Siegal created what are called "diet cookies". The cookies contain amino acids and other nutrients, and are designed to curb your appetite.
How Does The Cookie Diet Work?
The Cookie Diet was designed to be as simple as possible. Instead of eating lunch and breakfast, you eat six of Dr. Siegal's diet cookies throughout the day whenever you feel hungry.
At dinnertime you have more of a traditional meal, though probably smaller than you are used to. The meal would consist of 6 oz. of chicken, fish or other seafood, and one cup of vegetables.
It is also important to note that you need to drink plenty of water and other fluids throughout the day.
