Keep Them To Yourself

Okay, so you are dating an incredible woman that you like a lot. You want to be honest and open with her about everything. Do you tell her every little dirty secret and errant thought you have? The answer is no. You should let her know things about you personal life, your health, you family and anything else that affects her.

But there are some things you should keep to yourself. In most cases, these are harmless secrets or things that would definitely rock the balance of your relationship if you told her.

No one is advocating keeping important secrets from the woman in your life. Instead, you should think carefully before sharing every little detail. Here is a list of some things you should avoid telling her.

1. Never, ever tell her that you think one of her friends is hot. It will upset her to no end and affect her relationship with that girl. So if you find one of her friends to be sexy as hell, keep it to yourself.
2. It is also important not to tell her that you don't like her friends. You may think they are a bunch of backstabbing skanks who don't have an ounce of sense among them. However, if you tell her this, at the very least you will have a major argument on your hands and you could get booted out of her life because her friends have been a part of her life a lot longer than you have.
3. Do not tell your girlfriend that your family doesn't like her. It will make her feel insecure and will quite possibly result in her displaying behavior that guarantees they will never like her. You can listen to your family's concerns, but in the end, you are the one dating her, not them. So make sure you tell them about the wonderful things she does for you and ask them to get to know her better before making judgments about her.
4. Do not let her know that you compare her to your ex-girlfriend. Not in bed, not out of bed, not how she dresses or orders food at a restaurant. Girls want to hear this about as much as you want to hear that her ex-boyfriend did some neat little trick in bed that drove her wild. She knows there were women in your life before she came along, but you don't need to offer details.
5. Never tell your girlfriend you are jealous of her car, her job, and the amount of money she makes or anything else you are just a little bit insecure about. It is only human to have these kinds of feelings, but women prefer men who are confident and strong, and letting her know about all your little insecurities will only make her doubt your identity as a confident man.
6. If you flirt with other women, and most men do, don't tell her about it, and definitely don't do it in front of her. She understands that you probably flirt with the hot little server at Starbucks and with the sexy woman that delivers packages, but you don't need to tell her about it. Flirting is harmless if you never take it any
