Clear Your Acne by Avoiding Cheap Supplements

Have you gone through the latest medical journals and other health books. Have you find most of them incredibly boring, and have you spent hours trying to piece together the acne puzzle? All that hard study paid off, and today you can proudly present the final secret of causing and curing acne.

There are some supplements which need to be avoided.

Potassium Iodide

One of them is called Potassium Iodide. You'll mostly see it in cheap multivitamin and mineral supplements, as it is a cheap source of iodine and potassium. You would have noticed that whenever you go near the stuff you breakout in a cyst or two.

Iodine seems to cause breakouts, even in people who aren't acne prone, and potassium iodide is a really potent source of iodine.

Potassium Iodide is occasional y found in cheap processed food as well, so make sure you read the ingredients for any ready meals or processed food before you buy them.

Vitamins B6 and B12

The other two supplements to avoid are Vitamins B6 and B12. These are both known to cause acne if taken as individual supplements, as they put other b-vitamins out of balance, such as depleting B5, which when you are deficient in can cause acne. Taking a good well -rounded b-vitamin supplement is actually beneficial for clearing acne. It's only when you cause an imbalance in the b-vitamins artificial y by taking individual doses of B6 and/or B12 that acne can result.

As a general rule of thumb, you want to avoid cheap supplements as found in places like supermarkets and chemists. These are the types of supplements that may cause breakouts, due to poor quality ingredients and other additives. You want all natural, high quality supplements, and these don't actually cost much more than poor quality ones.
