What Errors on My Credit Report?
Millions of people out there fall victim to fraud and identity theft every year. But how many are victims of "Errors on my credit report on behalf of improper reporting?" According to the U.S. Public Interest Research Group, a study in 2004 found that 79% of the consumer credit reports surveyed contained some kind of error or mistake. ALMOST 80% OF PEOPLE OUT THERE HAVE A CREDIT REPORT CONTAINING WRONG INFORMATION!!!
There are tons of people out there that are walking around thinking that their credit is ok or marginal at best when it COULD easily be great. Understand that "credit reporting" agencies such as Equifax, Experian and TransUnion simply report information they are given-by the creditors, collections and government agencies. And we all know how well trained and well qualified these employees are (Sarcasm is evident in case you're wondering.) Now I am not putting all of the blame on the underpaid employee at that credit card, auto loan or mortgage company as they are just entering info they are given. The credit bureaus don't even take the time to verify that the information is correct! They only perform due diligence when someone sends in a dispute letter citing any sort of misreporting.
In my opinion, "Something is rotten in the state of Denmark" 8 out of 10 people out there have the wrong information on probably the most important financial scorecard available. If your credit score is low (due to bad reporting tactics) prepare to be disappointed when applying for that loan. It's not your fault and something can absolutely be done about it. For information on how to take back what's rightfully yours (unblemished credit) visit CreditFixedNow.info -you will absolutely be amazed as to how easy it is to "fix" this problem.
