<description> Together cancer of the gullet, stomach, bowel and pancreas are the commonest group of cancers, especially in the sixties onwards but they do occur before then. Cancer of the colon or rectum is the third most common cancer in men, causing about 8, 500 deaths a year. It is more likely if there is a family history of bowel cancer or in sufferers of ulcerative colitis. Cancer of the pancreas causes 8, 000 deaths a year, especially in smokers and diabetics. Cancer of the gullet or stomach affect an older age group and are more common in smokers.

         <link>http://www.articlebin.info/cancer/cancer/news_2008-10-07-20-10-02-721.html</link>
<description> Pancreatic cancer symptoms are often difficult to detect, making it even harder to diagnose this potentially deadly disease. It&#039;s important to remember that many of the indicators will not present themselves until after the disease is in an advanced stage. Keep reading for a list of possible signs. Stomach Pains Among the basic pancreatic cancer symptoms is a soreness or pain in the high abdomen. Patients often complain that the pain spreads through the area and around to their back. Many people going through this type of discomfort will often experience alleviation once they lean forward.

         <title>Meningioma Symptoms</title>
         <link>http://www.articlebin.info/cancer/cancer/news_2008-10-07-09-50-02-899.html</link>
<description> Nobody has the exact same experience or meningioma symptoms. This very tricky brain tumor still has the researchers baffled and no-one has yet conclusively shown why they appear or why they choose their victims. What is apparent though is that nobody has the exact same experience or meningioma symptoms which also make it tricky to diagnose. Having read through meningioma survival stories and spoken to neurologists it would appear that everyone has a different story to tell. The one thing that they did all share though is the emotion of shear panic when the diagnosis if confirmed.

         <link>http://www.articlebin.info/cancer/cancer/news_2008-10-06-21-30-02-282.html</link>
<description> There she was - on-stage - in a wheelchair. Jimmi-Ann Muse relished the standing ovation for her opening night performance as Dolly Levi in the classic stage musical, Hello Dolly! It was a full house at Greenville Little Theatre and the wild cheering was a dream come true for the 54-year-old art and drama teacher. Just a year earlier, Muse was told she might not live another year. Cancer in her colon required immediate surgery and lifelong chemotherapy. If she did nothing, she would live perhaps six months.

         <link>http://www.articlebin.info/cancer/cancer/news_2008-10-06-13-50-02-911.html</link>
<description> Most of us have heard that certain foods can help us become healthier, but are you aware that the right foods can help the body to eliminate cancer and other diseases such as diabetes, asthma and arthritis? For many years, thousands of people have been stopping these diseases by following a special diet that is packed with healthful nutrition. This diet was created by Dr. Johanna Budwig, a bio-chemist, Nobel prize nominee and health practitioner who worked with patients in Germany between 1952 and 2002.

         <title>Oral Cancer Screenings - A Life-Saving Practice</title>
         <link>http://www.articlebin.info/cancer/cancer/news_2008-10-05-20-50-02-284.html</link>
<description> I&#039;m sometimes amazed by the remarks I receive from patients after we perform a routine dental examination or a new patient evaluation that includes an oral cancer screening. &quot;I&#039;ve never had that done before, &quot; or &quot; What are you doing that for? &quot; are some of the comments that I hear. Although dentistry provides our patients with a multitude of services from tooth repair and periodontal (gum) therapies to pain management and aesthetic reconstruction, we must not over look the importance of a potential life saving practice that consists of an oral cancer screening.

<title>Cancer and Hypnosis - Is it Total Garbage?</title>
         <link>http://www.articlebin.info/cancer/cancer/news_2008-10-05-15-30-01-430.html</link>
<description> I&#039;ll be honest, quack doctors and the placebo effect. Those were my thoughts the first time I heard of hypnosis therapy for cancer patients. After digging a little, I have found that hypnosis research for cancer patients can, indeed, be effective and that the claim is backed by the American Cancer Society as a form of alternative Treatment. Hypnosis does not cure cancer. I am not making that statement, neither is any of the research, and neither is The American Cancer Society. However, what hypnosis does is help cancer patients through treatments.
