People Make The Sales World Go Round And Round

People make the sales world go round and round. For without people even with all the advanced technology sales simply will not be made and more importantly not sustained.

So how are your people skills? Maybe these statements will help you determine if you need to improve your people skills if your goal is to increase sales. Use a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being never and 10 being always to score your people skills. Then construct some goals to improve those statements that are not where you want them to be and do not forget to write some goals to maintain your already existing strengths.

  • When meeting others, they can sense my sense of purpose and direction.
  • I expect each and ever encounter to be successful.
  • I am a person who always and promptly honors all commitments made when talking with people.
  • I have a large reservoir of resources including mentors that I can rely on when I need assistance to help others.
  • I have the motivation to keep growing forward even if I have a bad people experience.
  • I truly like people.
  • I am an active listener.
  • I speak to be understood by the listener.
  • My body language is open.
  • My body language is non-judgmental.
  • I regard myself as a people person.
  • I have a personal development plan that allows me to grow forward as I meet more individuals.
  • I have a professional development plan that allows me to grow forward as I encounter more people.
  • I am well read allowing me to be engaging in conversations with a diverse people population.
  • I always use my relationship selling sales process when meeting new individuals.

There are many more statements that can help you become truly more people friendly. Your challenge is to maximize your own people skills because people make the sales world go round and round.
