Grabbing Their Attention
When was the last time you went to a bookstore? Walking down the isles filled with books you really can't look at just one book at a time. Instead your eyes sweep over all of them at once. But eventually you'll probably grab one of them and take a look. The question to ask is why did you choose that book? What about the design of it drew your eye more than the others. I know it wasn't the story, because you haven't read the story yet. All you have to go off of is the book's cover. That's all any of the books could offer you, but the one you chose to look at grabbed you more than the others for a reason. ...
