You travelled this far Holding The Creator's Hand To conquer and posses The Promised Land To drive away Your enemies from it Now you see a brick wall Right ahead of you And you cannot see A thing beyond You feel as if The end has come You are discouraged That you would not make it To the other side But did you know that The brick wall is there So you will walk By faith And not by sight Do you believe In your heart That you are only Inches away From the Promised Land Brick walls are not Put in front of Those who do not Will to climb them Brick walls are put Ahead of them That would dare To be different Rise up to be radical Who would go The extra mile Who would do Whatever it takes To cross to the other side To possess what is On the other side Brick walls are there To make you want What's on the other side So desperately enough And if you believe its worth it Nothing will keep you from getting it It is within your hands to reach it You are the one to decide If you are the warrior Or the victim If you have faith In your Creator His Spirit is in you There is a sure warrior Within you For God is a warrior And so are you For HE lives within Your heart If you believe in Him You will believe In yourself The brick wall Will not keep you away From your Promised Land .

Here's the key to love the other First find your self in your Creator And begin to love your real self For you are so loved by your Maker Who one day Thought of you alone And designed you with HIS very Hands Much detail God put into you To make sure you were not a clone And nor a mass production But a unique individual To the very hairs and fingerprint So HE could take great delight in you And have a unique relationship with you When you find your self In your Creator this way For the first time you will grasp The hard truth that If you don't love your self The way the Creator loves you You will never know another's love Even if you are so loved by them For the first time you will know What it means To love and accept your self Be loved and accepted by others And to love and accept others Not in the worldly selfish way But in the Godly selfless way For the first time you will know What it means To walk in your own skin And to be liberated For the first time you will be fearless Just to be your self And never to let another rob your self For the first time you will begin to enjoy Being your self And letting others know your self For the first time you will know That there is no need To compare your self Neither with the best Nor with the worst For you are superior to none And inferior to none You are meant to be you To the best of your ability For the first time you will experience What it means to be At peace with your self And at peace with others For the first time you will learn How to love others No matter who they are Or what they are And in spite of where they are Or what they have done Whatever their colour Caste or creed You will love them And not judge them You will accept them And not try to change them When you connect with Your Creator And your self It unleashes The power within And the passion To love your self To be your self And love others With compassion And then Just by being your self And loving them You will lead them To find their Creator To find their true self And help them Love themselves And to love and accept others And help them Be loving and creative To make this world A better place Faith, hope and love Love is the greatest of them all Love breaks through the barriers Love covers a multitude of faults Love never fails Love always hopes It always endures Always forgives God is love When you live in love you live in God Love the other as you love your self Love sets things in motion It's the ripple of heaven on earth.

Such a woman is a plight and paradox indeed She attracts a man's eyes, but makes his heart bleed Once allured, seduced, and ensnared it is hard to be freed Therefore I warn you my brothers to listen and take heed Lest you be by your eyes enticed, engulfed, and overcome Hear a woman speak and behold her actions, before you run Because being committed to a boisterous woman is not fun It will nearly make you want to be die, or be deaf and dumb Playing dumb is not sufficient to endure belligerence, nor shun A continuously complaining, belittling, and destructive woman Therefore men beware before by your eyes and hormones you succumb To the sophisticated seductress, lying lioness, and beguiling woman Show restraint and behold her behavior over a long period of time Thereafter you will know if she possesses nobility and does shine Radiate with inner glory, the woman within, cultivated and captivated If not, run hastily without explanation from her like decaying rot Because when her looks fade, an annoying woman you have got.

Life is a glorious divine comedy Set forth by the all wise divinity Continuously challenging humanity To think again more thoroughly To examine things more carefully Before speaking forth prematurely Before judging others presumptuously Before rendering conclusions hastily Because God above knows the heart of all Without the Creator, no man can stand tall For God above with love gives us breath daily The Lord of life breathes within us spiritually Dead our bodies are without the spirit inwardly Igniting, inspiring, inviting, and always illuminating Cultivating, quickening, encouraging, and captivating The Maker of heaven and earth in us gives new birth To love, life, laughter, faith, hopes, dreams, and worth Even self-worth as we realize in God's image we are made Hopefully sooner rather than later after we have fully paid With our lives, blood, sweat, and tears spending all our years Pursuing and chasing useless trivialities and incongruencies As we progressively awaken to our own shallow insecurity Without relationship with our Maker we dwell in obscurity Disregard reasoning, lofty explanations, and pious motivations Like a heartfelt child with faith simply rejoice in divine infatuation Rid your fragile heart of pride's pretense that tends toward alienation Simply abandon your soul and self into the loving arms of Almighty God Rhetoric, discourse, and doctrinal discussions is territory you need not trod Religious affiliations and denominations distract us from moving Godward Open the good book and read the Creator's love letter to you in His Word.

Whining in the wilderness What's going on there? Absolutely nothing it seems Yet you continue to scream Groan and moan incessantly Complain bitterly and tirelessly Treading through the wilderness Trekking through rugged terrain Meanwhile God's Word you disdain The point breakthrough and victory To get you through, propel you forth To redirect, rearrange you life course Alter, enhance, improve for the better Break every chain, bondage, and fetter Listen carefully to me with your heart Hear the word of life and don't depart Although you think yourself to be smart Some cycles of defeat can only be reversed As you love and honor God, who others cursed Let not your heart be bitter or angrily divorced From the loving Lord of life who silences strife Who quiets and stills the wayward, restless soul Breathes fresh like to make us inwardly whole Restoring to us what the foul devil has stole Renewing us within to mightily arise and win To take back the precious promises of God To boldly enter the promised land and trod Over every enemy that would seek to slay Over every skeptic who doubts and says nay Over every giant that defiantly stands in our way Over every fearful thought that would dismay Over every circumstances that does overwhelm As we relinquish control and invite Jesus to the helm To navigate, lead, guide, and direct by His Spirit To open our hearts, so His voice we can hear it His blessings we will embrace and not be hesitant As we remain thankful, we shall be triumphant.

My stresses fade and my day is now made All heaviness of heart is replaced with gladness All sorrow is swallowed up with your radiance Your smile soothes my soul and makes me whole Your touch transcends my troubles and renews me Your gentle words comfort and tenderly nourish me Lifting me to a much higher place full of divine grace I therefore easily rise above all circumstantial disgrace I renew my mind with God's Word and establish a pace Being reminded that God above will surely let me taste The promised land as I daily embark to see His face With steadfast patience and faith run this lifelong race My darling with you I can endure everything and boldly chase My noble dreams and desires with burning unquenchable fire Delighting in you as we together walk hand in hand through Trials and tribulations, no matter our socioeconomic station Because unconditional love sustains and brings transformation Therefore I rejoice in my inner wealth, not outward accumulation.
