Divine Dream Maker - Childhood Dreams
Do you remember When you were a child You dreamed The possible dreams The precious dreams When you grew up The World robbed you Of those dreams Told you They were impossible They were useless And you believed their lies Did you know Your childhood dreams Are still buried deep In the recesses of your heart You think you have forgotten But they cry out to you From deep within You try to silence them You think its too late now To achieve them But you still hear Your childhood dreams You cannot silence them They echo in your ear For they are you Your Creator Put them in you So that your dreams Would become your vision God does not make mistakes HE puts a dream In a child's heart To birth HIS vision Through child like faith To do the impossible To reach the unreachable So tap into your heart Listen to your dreams Tap into the Author Of your dreams Reach out to God In child like faith Let HIM turn your dreams Your deepest desires To be your vision It is never too late To follow your heart When you connect With the invincible force From above That makes you Hunger and thirst For your vision The Divine hand That moulds you Enables you Equips you Empowers you Raises you To bring out The dreams within To bring out Your real self It is Divine will The vision That never leaves you Would come to pass If you would please Let HIM in And help you believe In your dreams And in yourself All things are possible To them that believe So never give up Your childhood dreams .
The Poet Laureate Position Has a Long and Rich Tradition
The office of poet laureate has a long and rich history, tracing its origins unofficially as far back as Geoffrey Chaucer, perhaps even before that. As kings and rulers grew in power their desire to experience the arts grew as well. Appreciation for the ancientart of poetry led to kings unofficially selecting a popular and well-known poet to write poetry that would honor the king and his court. This later led to kings choosing poets as official versifiers for the king's court. Ben Jonson was appointed poet laureate of England in 1616. John Dryden, however, was the first English poet to carry the official title in 1668.
My Relationship With Me - Makes the World a Better Place
To love yourself Is to love in a wholesome way It is accepting both The good and the bad That is in you Resting in the assurance that The good in us is of God The bad in us is the result of The Fall In the Garden of Eden When Adam and Eve Ate of the Forbidden Fruit And lay claim to the knowledge Of good and evil Giving mankind a choice Between good and evil But there is no need To blame Adam and Eve For our Maker had HIS plan From the beginning In HIS Son Jesus Christ To redeem us from evil If only we could be transparent And vulnerable To humbly open up The badness in our hearts To God's Spirit Who will cleanse and sanctify us Slowly but steadily To make us good So that we become More like HIM And better human beings Because of the Adam's nature in us We are both goodness and badness We have no problem in accepting The goodness in others and us It is the badness that we struggle with And are guilty and ashamed of It is the badness that we hide It is the badness that we hate Whether in others or us We do not know how to Get rid of our badness But when you accept your badness And are comfortable with yourself You will stop self-condemnation And being harsh to yourself You will stop walking in a mask In order to receive Approval and acceptance from others You will then allow God to transform your badness Gently and steadily Even as you live your life daily Then you will accept The badness in the others And accept them for who they are You will not then condemn them Or try to change them Instead you will understand them And appreciate them Love them exactly where they are Give them space to be themselves And change themselves With the help of God And at their own pace Your relationship with the others Will be more harmonious Your soul will be restful You will enjoy love, joy and peace Your life will be fulfilling Enriched with purpose With a sense of destiny When we accept ourselves in a wholesome way We begin to love ourselves in a wholesome way This is to have a relationship with the self This shift of attitude oh boy!
Iron Windows Love Song For the Dead Two Poems
Iron Windows Come Friend, come one and all... It will take but a few minutes, I have a story to tell you- Take note up. Read what I have to say. I hope your face is not of straw and your heart not made of sorrow. I sit in this fabric-back chair in a corner of my writing room. I have put to rest, all the hurts, pains and regrets, they seem to come and leave like clouds with shadows, as the rains come dancing moving them as if they had wings; these times I feel-we're ideal: comrades in a world with iron windows, holding somehow this incurable age together. Hence, again I say, come friend, come one and all.
Edgar Allan Poe - Master of Mystery and Macabre
Edgar Allan Poe was born in Boston, Massachusetts on January 19, 1809 to Elizabeth Arnold Hopkins Poe and David Poe, Jr. Three years later both of his parents died and he moved into the home of John Allan in Richmond, Virginia. He was given the name "Allan" by his new family. Poe was schooled at the Manor School at Stoke Newington and Reverend John Bransby's Manor House boarding school. He then moved back in with the Allans, served an apprenticeship in Pawtucket, and attended the University of Virginia. He attended the university only for one year due to gambling debts, which caused an estrangement from his foster father.
Religion Separates, God Unites
At the foot Of the Calvary Cross The ground was Made level When Christ died For all mankind's sin Religion says Otherwise It condemns It separates It divides And rules Religion makes A difference Between us And the other With religion It is 'do' With Christ It is 'done' Religion says 'by works' Christ says 'by faith' And God affirms One simple Yet profound Truth For as in Adam all die So in Christ all Will be made alive So that God May be All in all He who has an ear Let him hear The truth The Spirit of Christ says Then rejoice and Not be bitter That at the foot Of the Calvary Cross God indeed made The ground level For all mankind To unite in God It begins with The genesis Where in Adam all die And ends with The revelation Where in Christ all will Be made alive All were made Vicariously liable Through Adam's sin In the Garden of Eden So Christ was made Vicariously responsible To atone for all On the Calvary Cross Religion condemns man By its own creation Of eternal hell Whereas Christ died and rose To reinstate man With eternal life God is love And God is just God is infinite In wisdom God has no Favouritism From the first Adam To the last of Adam And to us all God is forever Truth and justice That which all lost In first Adam Was purchased for all In Last Adam And that is Christ The Saviour As death came vicariously To all through one Life comes vicariously To all through One As to when and where And how it is done Is God's prerogative None could overrule Dead religion Is blind to this simple truth Spirituality Reveals Christ's simple truth This is the message Of the Good News Blind religion Misrepresents God Spreads the message Of Evil News Of eternal hell In place of The Good News Of eternal life All you who felt Condemned by religion And hated God And misunderstood God And rejected God Because you will not Accept a God Who could create An eternal hell Now is the time To open your eyes And open your ears God is not A God who offers coercion God is but A God who offers confidence God is not A God who offers fear God is but A God who offers love God is not A God who offers condemnation God is but A God who offers justification God is not A God who offers eternal separation God is but A God who offers eternal redemption Now is the time To open your eyes And open your ears Fear and coercion Control and manipulation Damnation and separation Are of the Evil one Satan the liar Always comes Disguised as The Angel of the light To kill, destroy And steal the truth Of eternal life From mankind In the Garden of Eden He deceived Eve Adam's bride And stole Eternal life from all After his defeat On the Calvary Cross He now deceives The church Christ's bride And steals Eternal life due all Smart as Satan is Vile as he is Satan uses the Gullible channel Of blind religion To offer his lie Of eternal hell Religion separates It divides and rules But for a time of times God will unite In God's time of times And the truth Of eternal life to all Shall prevail For it is of God His gift to mankind .
The Go-Cart A Minnesota Poem, 1959
Here in front of Old Rice School (underneath arc lights) the boys (the Cayuga Street Gang) wait like candles on an alter- half lit. We are bending over looking down while Mike and his go-cart ready the world for light. None of us noticed it then, the boy, girls... boozed, that twilight had sit: how funny, it was like a festival- a square rigged cart of steel, with a motor on its back, made us hold our breath, hoping our turn would come next, to ride and drive this mad-mouse. And then your turn came-counting stopped, breathing regained- I mean, you were different now, you had the reins.

The Undeniable Perfect Love
In the name of true love which you truly are, You are in a journey that can never be lost. To pure light and truth, your original birth place you return. You believe or ignore, there is where you will go. Way back home can't be denied, it has it's purpose. The pure love that bind us to the divine infinite power, Is stronger and unimaginable than anyone can ever tell. Terming up with the spirit will make it even much easier. To Fill your being with the highest feelings of love is next. Imagining you are a pure, bright and beautiful light of joy, Illuminating an entire large beautiful and awesome room, Good enough you are in that same room.
Suicide - God Wants You to Stay
I'm sorry if they failed you and didn't let you know, how much that you are needed and there's no need for you to go. I beg from you one more chance to tell you of God's grace. I pray that you will listen and let me tell it to your face. No one has the right to judge you, let alone to criticize, because God made you as He did them, and you're both worthy in His eyes. There's nothing you could do or say that would change God's love for you. You see, His love is unconditional and His words are always true. Although you may not feel it, please believe what's in your heart. There's a God who'll always love you and you've never been apart.
