Just be calm and patiently push on through
Step by step, day by day, season by season
Steadily, courageously, and consistently continue
To make your way in this dog eat dog wild world
As you set goals, work diligently, live your dreams
Don't yield to those who complain and profusely scream
Nor be diminished by those who seek to ridicule and demean
Because life is not always a sweet fair tale as it may seem
Nevertheless keep your head up and go forward in faith
Remembering God above will give you power, and grace
