Inward Smile
Hell broke loose in my mind today.
I needed Gods love to ease my stay.
Terrible storms cast solid rocks of hail,
Pounding in my spirit, casting my heart
into jail.
Lord, how did I get myself into such a mess.
As I tried to be strong an man up for the test.
I was in a fight for my life, a fight that I could
no loose. So I paced my self as I laced up my shoes.
Prepare for anything that would come my way.
When the bell rang I was ready to fight. I could not
see my opponent has was out of sight. Be he fought like a
champ. A man besides himself. With the punches he threw
I had to catch my breathe. And that's when I realized
that I was only fighting myself.
The struggles that I had was not from other men.
This battle of good and evil is still rages within. Now I feel
safe just like a child. No longer beating my self up, I've found
an inward smile.
Life can be hard. However if you feel that you are having a hard experience, Think of bad or worse it could have been. In my opinion everybody needs a smile. We all must face some ugly situations. As a preacher told me once "you must past by hell on your way to heaven" So can you find something to smile about. Even though all hell is breaking loose in your life, you should be able to find a smile from within...
