How to Sell Your Pictures Online

Selling your pictures online is really easy nowadays. With such easy use of the internet and digital photography, anybody can start selling their photos online. How? This article will show you exactly how!

It's called stock photography. You've seen it everywhere whether you know it or not. In advertisements, pictures used in art, templates used for videos, etc. Many people are in high desire of stock photos. And that's where we as photographers come in. We provide the stock photos and they buy them from us.

Now, selling your stock photos individually is difficult. But using a stock agency makes it super easy. All you have to worry about is taking the pictures. Everything else...attracting customers, processing the sells, etc...it's all taken care of by the agency.

How much do you make?
It all depends. The easiest way to start making money from stock photography is through micro stock agencies online. Such are shutterstock, fotolia, etc. They pay you around twenty five cents per download your picture gets.

This may seem like not much, but it can really add up. If you've got hundreds of photos online being downloaded every day, you can make a few hundred a day.

Of course, you can't just take any photo and expect it to sell. You must know what types of photos are in high demand and which categories you can compete in easily.

Stock photography is different than normal photography. The primary purpose of most stock photos is for advertising and such. So, you're going to have to "dumb down" the art and go for more simple and easy to grasp concepts.
