<title>Learn to Play Guitar - Tips For Changing Guitar Strings</title>
         <link>http://www.articlebin.info/arts-and-entertainment/music/news_2008-08-21-13-25-02-850.html</link>
<description> Changing guitar strings is as important as turning your guitar. You have to check the strings regularly to see if anyone of them is missing or worn. Old guitar strings are hard to play and make your guitar out-of-tune quickly. Your fingers will always get hurt. But putting new strings on your guitar will help you produce brighter and greater guitar sound with ease. So now let us forget how to play guitar but look at how often to change the strings. The ideal plan is, of course, to change them every time before playing the guitar.

<title>Absolute Beginner - So You Just Bought a New Guitar - Want to Know Where to Start?</title>
         <link>http://www.articlebin.info/arts-and-entertainment/music/news_2008-08-20-07-25-02-842.html</link>
<description> So where do you start ... First thing I suggest is getting comfortable with the guitar itself. If you are right handed, you will strum with your right hand and hold the neck of the guitar with your left hand. If you are left-handed, then the reverse is true. Either way the thickest string should be closest to your face and the thinnest string towards your feet. (It is common for &quot;lefties&quot; to buy a guitar set up for a right handed player. You will need to get somebody to help you change the strings around the other way!

<title>Effects Pedal True Bypass - Myths, Facts and Recommendations</title>
         <link>http://www.articlebin.info/arts-and-entertainment/music/news_2008-08-18-15-30-03-197.html</link>
<description> Few subjects amongst guitar pedal aficionados arouse more strong opinions than the subject of true bypass and whether it is necessary. First of all, if you&#039;re a beginner to the debate, you should have some awareness of what bypassing is and why the debate matters. All effects pedals can be turned off by stepping on them. After all, that&#039;s why they&#039;re called stomp boxes. Well, when you turn a pedal off, in theory, you should be hearing what the guitar signal sounds like without the effects pedal coloring your sound.

<description> The Fender Telecaster is one of the World&#039;s most recognizable guitars. Simple in design, the Telecaster has been the quintessential guitar for over fifty years. It was also essentially the first recognizable solid body guitar, which provided the inspiration for some of the most recognizable music of the 20th century with regard to folk, blues, R &amp; B, rock, and country genres. The telecaster has it&#039;s origins in early 1940&#039;s when Clarence Leonidas Fender (AKA Leo Fender), proprietor of the Fender Radio Repair Shop, started to experiment with guitar amplification.
