Changing guitar strings is as important as turning your guitar. You have to check the strings regularly to see if anyone of them is missing or worn. Old guitar strings are hard to play and make your guitar out-of-tune quickly. Your fingers will always get hurt. But putting new strings on your guitar will help you produce brighter and greater guitar sound with ease. So now let us forget how to play guitar but look at how often to change the strings. The ideal plan is, of course, to change them every time before playing the guitar.

So where do you start ... First thing I suggest is getting comfortable with the guitar itself. If you are right handed, you will strum with your right hand and hold the neck of the guitar with your left hand. If you are left-handed, then the reverse is true. Either way the thickest string should be closest to your face and the thinnest string towards your feet. (It is common for "lefties" to buy a guitar set up for a right handed player. You will need to get somebody to help you change the strings around the other way!

Are you a musician that has to turn the volume up on your TV? Is the volume turned up on the CD player you are listening to? Do you have one ear that you put the telephone to because you have trouble hearing out of that ear? Maybe now is the time for you to visit the doctor for a physical exam that should include screening for hearing loss and some other hearing tests. If you haven't reached this point yet, then it is time for you to take some measures to protect your ears. All musicians are at risk to have some sort of hearing loss if they do not take the necessary precautions to protect their ears.

The Fender Telecaster is one of the World's most recognizable guitars. Simple in design, the Telecaster has been the quintessential guitar for over fifty years. It was also essentially the first recognizable solid body guitar, which provided the inspiration for some of the most recognizable music of the 20th century with regard to folk, blues, R & B, rock, and country genres. The telecaster has it's origins in early 1940's when Clarence Leonidas Fender (AKA Leo Fender), proprietor of the Fender Radio Repair Shop, started to experiment with guitar amplification.
