Be the Hottest Dancer Out There With the Greatest Dance Move Crazes of All Time!
Admit it. There was a song once upon a time that made you rise up from your seat and shake your booty like there was no tomorrow. It could have been 50 years ago or 5 minutes ago, but the point is nothing gets the body shaking like a really hot dance track straight from the depths of your speakers. Of course we may regret doing it afterwards, but nothing has gotten the whole populace moving like some of these amazing dance tracks: - Asereje: 2002 was never the same after the advent of this hit by Las Ketchup. This Spanish language track that involved dances with crazy hand movements and hip gyrations was a smash hit and probably had you singing along to lyrics that you didn't even understand.
10 Records That Changed the World
There have been many good records, but most did not change the world of music. There have been some that did and here is my top 10. (Please feel free to argue and let me know your top 10. It is all subjective after all.) These either changed the direction of music or were the pinnacle of their genre. each record comes with a brief explanation which I will expand on later posts. 1. Tutti Frutti (Little Richard) There are many early rock and roll records that could claim to have laid the fundamentals for what was to follow. However Tutti Frutti is my choice for its sheer power and energy. Coupled with with the fact that this was a major hit for a black artist at a time when that was almost unheard of means that Tutti Frutti just has to be on my list.
Changing Keys - What is Transposition, and How Can I Do It?
Transposition is changing the key of a piece of music, or changing the notes without changing their relationship. This is often done to make the piece of music easier to play or sing. It's a common practice in bands that don't perform their own material; the singer may wish to cover a song with vocals that are far out of his or her range. Transposition can correct that problem by shifting the key into a range that is comfortable for him or her. Transposition is also used with instruments. Some instruments (called transposing instruments) are not tuned to the same note; for instance, a Bb clarinet is tuned to a B flat and an alto clarinet to an E flat.

Secret of Successful Guitar Practice
What is the number one secret to continuous progress with the guitar? What does every beginner have to do to be better tomorrow than they are today? We all know the answer: Practice. How do you get to Carnegie Hall? It's not a joke. Every musician knows that to get better on the instrument they must practice. The two most important aspects of that practice are consistency and targeted material. Consistency of guitar practice, daily guitar practice, is the foundation of advancing in musicianship. Selecting the right material, while highly important, rests entirely upon sitting down and actually practicing it.

Robbie Williams Tribute Act
What makes a good tribute act? To be precise, what makes a good Robbie Williams tribute act? In order to be like Robbie, you need to consider a few factors. 1) Can you sing like Robbie Williams? 2) Do you look like Robbie Williams? 3) Do you have the charisma to carry it off? I have seen, in my eyes, the best Robbie Williams tribute acts in the world. From the very beginning of the act, he gave an amazing performance. He had the crowd up on their feet, clapping their hands and singing along. I don't think that the reason was just because we knew the song, or had had a few drinks, I think it was the fact the performer was in fact an entertainer.
How Did Music Evolve?
Is music just "auditory cheesecake" or can it provide deep insights into the workings of the brain and the evolution of language? From the New Zealand haka to raves and dancing birds, The Guardian's James Randerson investigates why music evolved, how it is linked to language, how it is understood by the brain and how it can be used to treat patients. Scientists have learned that we are not the only species that can dance to a beat. Birds that engage in mimicry can be entrained to bob their heads in time with a beat, even as the beat changes. Since this musical awareness does not seem to occur spontaneously in the wild, scientists theorize that, in humans, it emerged through natural selection as a byproduct of another skill such as vocal imitation.
