DJ Scratching Tutorials - Where Can You Find The Best Scratching Tutorials?
When I first started out DJ I was faced with a lot of questions. Some of these where things like "Where am I going to buy my music?" "Where will I buy the equipment?" etc.. One of the big questions I had was "where am I going to find DJ scratching tutorials?" This was something that I really wanted to make sure I had! Good quality DJ scratching tutorials! I really wanted to learn how to scratch over records and do it really good so I could really have that extra kick with my DJ sets.
I love scratching over beats because I love the sounds that I can produce live. When the crowd in the club takes to it there is an amazing buzz that hits the dance floor which really gives the room loads of energy. As a DJ, this is an ultimate feeling when you can do this to your dance floor. Its really making you connect with the audience and in return this is an amazing feeling.
So where can you find DJ scratching tutorials? And quality ones at that! Well, for a start don't bother with the idea of buying one of those text books on teaching yourself to DJ. Don't get me wrong, I mean they are good alright, but they are not really the best resource you can find for DJ scratching tutorials. From my own experience, I thought that books can only illustrate so much to its reader when it comes to explaining the moves of all the DJ scratching techniques and tricks.
So what else is there?
Well... If you are looking for DJ scratching tutorials, the best advice I can give to anyone is finding video tutorials. The reason for this is simple. Video tutorials are so much more easier to follow and understand. You simple sit back and watch what is being taught. The best part about videos is that if you miss something, or you didn't understand a certain technique you can always go back and rewind it to the part where you missed!
You can find a lot of DJ scratching tutorials online on websites such as Youtube, google videos etc... These are fine and you may learn something from them alright. The only problem is that they limit you on information and education. However, if you are serious about learning to scratch and want to find quality videos then I suggest that you click on the link below.
